"Does one, upon entering the gate, wonder which way to turn, all directions being so enticing?"

–Edna Walling

Irregular stone-paved paths and formal footways, almost merging with the grass, stairs leading down to a pond of water lilies.
The journey is as pleasurable as the destination. Meander down a stepping-stone path that subtly adorns the lawn. Find tranquility beneath branches arched above a footpath of antique brick. Wander over woodland tracks below the overhanging trees woven through landscape and garden. Classic pathways engender a life of strolling through the property.

"The minor brick paths have no edging, and the flowers tumble over them informally, as in many English gardens, contrasting with the formal note at the center."

–Marian Coffin
